Because its true, except for one thing.
You make big bucks in the oil and gas industry if you're in big oil and gas companies like Shell, Petronas, etc.
You dont make the big bucks doing all the work in consultancy companies. We're basically broke. haha.
But I think I'll stay. Read the article to know why.

I guess it depends on the individual. some prefer big money, even their work suck and they didn't have enough life for themselves. but some rather have a moderate income but enjoy what they are doing.
but its very true, not everyone working in oil & gas industry got big income. even me. but yes, have faith and patient. experience will bring you further :)
